I have a requirement to have the discovered devices to be added to certain host groups but this cannot be done once the host is created.
Environment:
Multiple clients with each clients' devices in host group, i.e Client 1 devices all members of Client 1 Host group etc.
Using this template I can create the main Zabbix Host called Client 1 Unifi Network and place it in Client 1 Host group.
When the Discovery rules run and creates the UAP, USW & UDMP they are only added to the Host group set in the host prototype, for example Unifi, AP & Critical Alerts.
I cannot add Client 1 Host group to the prototype because then Client 2 devices will show up in Client 1 etc
Is there a way to have the discovered hosts grab the host group/s of the parent controller or the ability to edit the host groups after the discovered host has been created?
