It should already work this way, do you have a way of reproducing this issue? (Maybe certain songs?)

Seems more related to the player, sometimes it doesn't show the thumbnail, some other times it doesn't even show the music that is being played

Not completely sure yet, but the root cause of #94 might have some influence on this as well. I've created a fix for that, but it has C# code changes so needs a Store update (can't be done via over-the-air script updates).

I'll submit the update in the next few days to the Store, and will let you know.
