Does the Linked Pasts Ontology include relations values for pointing in the Linked Traces annotations respectively to a findspot, an origin place and a mentioned place? Can we use something like 'lpo:findspot', 'lpo:originplace', 'lpo:mentionedplace'?

The Linked Pasts Ontology (lpo:) is a work-in-progress still at an early stage. The latest version is just a start. Yes, it could include some set of broadly useful relations, like lpo:findspot as you suggest. Several people have noted there is no end to the number of relations an object (or event, or person, or concept) might have with a place, but I do think a relatively small set of highly general relations is achievable and would be useful -- driven by software that would make use of them for its users' searches, filters, analysis, etc.
