Could be useful f.e. to set recording (endpoint specific or globally) to true or false, or adding endpoints, or other easy things that do not require script or instances (I guess).

I think we should also support exporting the currently active configuration
:) If you change things in the GUI and want to persist those changes, that
should be possible.

it would be nice to change endpoint configuration on the fly to change delay settings for simulating 'slow backend' etc
