Notes not working

Notes doesn't work. Notes used to display the star icon on the map wherever you clicked on the map to set the note. This no longer functions, and there's no way to see where you've noted anything on the map. You can click on the map and view notes that you've set, but they're in a list in a box, which is absolutely useless as compared to being a huge star icon visible on the map itself. It'd be nice to see this brought back to the way it used to be. I use Carbonite map and minimap and have the Blizzard map loaded into the Carbonite map, if you need to see a screen shot of my layout, or any settings within Carbonite, please let me know. Thank you!

PS for the record, I even installed Handynotes, even though that has never been a prerequisite in the past, I figured since there was an option under the Notes Settings for it, I would try it, and to no avail. Shouldn't need it anyway, as I never did in the past for the Note icon to be displayed right on the world map when I set it.
