SD: value for referenceSpeciesId.href is reported wrong in 2024.3

The validator is currently running into an error when trying to uplaod a file. I therefore validated a SD file on my local machine using the validator version 2024.3.

It is running into a validation error for some objects: XML document '[...]', SpeciesDistributionUnit '[...]': The property 'referenceSpeciesId' has a value 'http://www.eu-nomen.eu/portal/taxon.php?GUID=urn:lsid:marinespecies.org:taxname:148791' that is not one of the allowed values listed at 'https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/codelist/EuNomenCodeValue'. Please note that the URIs of all code list values from the INSPIRE Registry shall be referenced using the http protocol.

There are two things that I do not understand currently:

1. How to report the referenceSpeciesId if not in the way I did?
2. Why is the error message not occurring for all objects in the file but only for some (as they all use the same pattern)?

we are working to solve the issue of uploading zip files.

In the meantime, I validated a sample of your dataset (containing the value 'http://www.eu-nomen.eu/portal/taxon.php?GUID=urn:lsid:marinespecies.org:taxname:148791' for the 'referenceSpeciesId' attribute) and it validates, see report https://inspire.ec.europa.eu/validator/test-run/details.html?id=EID5fc2a8cb-318c-4ec9-b4d8-400ed58936b6.

The replies to your questions are:

1. The encoding you used for the referenceSpeciesId attribute is right. The relevant codelists are externally managed, so the validator only checks that the HTTP link works.
2. It is indeed strange, most probably, the server didn't respond at the time of the check. We will check the full gml file when the issue with the zip files is resolved.
