Feature request - a directory that includes metarepo implementation examples by type

Something that could be helpful to users is a directory of metarepo implementation examples. One option could be to create a directory at the metarepo root called "template_examples" which includes metarepo_template.md along with other options which users can choose from to pick the "best" starting point for the project they have in mind. This is probably easier said than done and I'd be happy to help. Another option could be to take inspiration from the Snakemake project. They have a page that outlines best practices which includes a link to a workflow catalog. An analogous metarepo catalog could be a great resource, but is probably even harder than the option I mentioned before.

Is this something worth thinking about/trying to implement?
