mutspec install error due to package_perl_5_18 issue

I have had trouble installing mutspec version 13/03/17 in my galaxy. The dependency package_perl_5_18 looks to have installed correctly, however mutspec is flagging errors with this programme (images attached).

perl and mutspec have been uninstalled and re-installed several times but this does not fix the problem.

galaxy admin team say: "This tool has not been updated in over a year and uses an older version of dependency handling during tool installation". Is an update to fix the problem due for release?
