Groups within a Happening

Could you give some example use cases? Would a simple interface to quickly select a group of users used in a previous transaction suffice?

A simple interface to quickly select a group of users used in a previous
transaction would be good, but giving a name to groups would be even
better.
This way when you have a group within your Happening that always does
certain things together, you can easily select them.

Examples:
From my club: Those who drink alcohol and those who don't. Those who have
meetings together. etc.
