What is the QC term's name?

peptide spectrum matches charges fractions

Briefly describe the QC term.

The fraction of filtered peptide spectrum matches (PSMs) of the corresponding charge. The fractions [0,1] are given in the 'Fraction' column, corresponding charges in the 'Charge state' column. The highest charge state is to be interpreted as that charge state or higher.

What is the QC term's unit?

MS:1000041 ! charge state, UO:0000191 ! fraction

Value type

MS:4000005 ! table

Describe any additional information.

this is ID-based, MS2-level bases

  • MS:4000063 ! MS2 known precursor charges fractions -> Difference: only filtered MS2s instead of all of them.
  • MS:4000168 ! ratio of 1+ over 2+ of identified MS2 known precursor charges
  • MS:4000170 ! ratio of 3+ over 2+ of identified MS2 known precursor charges
  • MS:4000172 ! ratio of 4+ over 2+ of identified MS2 known precursor charges
  • MS:4000174 ! mean MS2 precursor charge in identified spectra
  • MS:4000176 ! median MS2 precursor charge in identified spectra

-> These metrics could be calculated directly from the new table (except median).
