  • Projectile is not a UT3 rocket, it's a stock UT2004 rocket
  • Grenade fire is assault rifle grenades which makes no sense
  • Muzzle flash while in 1st person on UT3 is small and white orange and centered directly at the barrel that is firing (this is true for multi barrel fire as well) with another flash with smoke from the back of barrel
  • Alt fire loading sound on UT3 sounds the same as mode select on UT2004 it seems like something else
  • Rocket pack in UT2004 in worth 9 shots and only worth 6 in UT3
  • 3rd person view muzzle flash is actually fairly close to what I see in UT3's 3rd person the only differences I can notice are that in UT3 it's more of that white orange and the points are in different places....also I noticed that in UT2004 we can actually SEE the barrels move while in 3rd person but not in UT3 so that's a huge improvement good job
  • Impact from a rocket in UT3 creates a large orange explosion, UT2004 isn't too far off though, just needs a little bit of a size up and be made orange and you would probably get it (grenades explode the same way which is most definitely missing in UT2004)
  • UT2004 RPG: With magic weapon chance of more than 0% alt fire select does nothing, no spiral and no grenade options true for other weapon mods too so it's an issue with rpg itself, regular and druid both but not titan

Hm, I'm pretty sure I spent a good amount of time tuning the alt fire sound, it shouldn't be different at all... I wonder if that's the 64-bit compatibility issue again...

And yes, the 3rd person barrel rotation is in fact an unused animation in UT3.

Well looks like I might have been right to blow myself up with the rocket launcher because it wasn't the same result....

UT3 point blank single shot 100 to 57 health and in UT2004 also point blank shot 100 to 54
At 199 in both games a triple spiral to the floor did....UT3 199 to 79 and in UT2004 199 to 74

That's not far off. It could just be a difference in calculating the distance between the centre of the explosion and the character. Still might be worth looking into, but not a big priority.

Rocket Launcher does not lock onto empty vehicles in UT2004 but does in UT3

Manta in UT3 took 80 damage with massive knockback while Manta in UT2004 took 110 from single primary shot and had extreme knockback, on second attempt in UT2004 Manta only took 19 damage what? Manta took 106 in UT2004 on 3rd try, what's with the Manta's different damage rates :S ?

Scorpion in both games took 80 damage consistently from single primary shot, in UT3 Scorpion was not even lifted off the ground, in UT2004 it was sent flying as far as the Manta

Rocket Grenade did 74 in UT3 and in UT2004 did 28 to Manta and 55 to Scorpion, I'd also like to mention it feels like spiral/grenade switch has slower fire rate to switch between, it was hard firing a single grenade in UT2004

EDIT - Rocket primary is throwing the Hellbender around like a ragdoll in UT2004, it doesn't do this in UT3, in fact in UT3 it barely lifts it off one wheel

Rockets on a Cicada do nothing in UT3 including grenades except lift it's front into the air, in UT2004 a rocket sends a Cicada flying and the grenade causes very little knockback

Rockets and grenades are pushing the SPMA around a little. in UT3 they don't appear to

Yea, I'm pretty sure they shouldn't lock onto empty vehicles, that's not useful.

Depends on how you use it I guess as it makes easier to take out a Manta when somebody is about to get in it, which they usually get in and the rockets are close enough they go up as it begins it's hover so I tend to find it useful.....and maybe a little cheap I suppose.
