Summary

Add ESPHome OTA update (Over-the-Air) firmware binaries files for each version update

Basic example

Check out how formatBCE added to Koala-Satellite:

Motivation

ESPHome’s Over-The-Air (OTA) platform allows end-users to easily remotely install modified/updated firmware binaries onto their ESPHome devices over their network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) interface.

In addition to OTA updates, ESPHome also supports a “safe mode” to help with recovery if/when updates don’t work as expected. This is automatically enabled by this component, but it may be disabled if desired. See Safe Mode for details.

Hi @Hedda, OTA .bin files are located in each release here

Currently we're not able to commit to tracking the ESPHome release dates monthly in realtime (hence why we're recommending using 2024.12.2 for now)

Let me know is this does or doesn't answer the tickets request. Thank you!
