The "cmd sentry rotate 45" is brilliant. Love that you don't have to touch the sentrygun to rotate it. I suggest being able to let engineers set the gun initially in the direction they want it pointed. There are 3 ways that come to my mind as to how to accomplish this.
Allow the engineer to rotate the gun as he is building it using the same "cmd sentry rotate 45" commands. Best that the commands be non-distant dependent, until, of course, the gun is built. But then as I think about it, why not enable the engineer to have a remote control on his gun, to rotate it without being near it?
Give the engineer the gun's view and allow him to simply turn his mouse, then jump or click to set the gun's direction.
Have the engineer look a certain way with his body, then use his remote control (perhaps the command could be "cmd build sentry") to set the gun's direction. And, as I think again, this seems like a handy way to set the gun at any time, at any distance.
