Cannot install EdSharp: trojan warning

I cannot install the latest EdSharp from the installer here referenced here because Windows Defender thinks it contains a Trojan.

Looking at the Virus Total report here eight virus guards, including Symantec and AVG, report a Trojan in the EdSharp installer.

I've submitted it to our corporate security team, they may have more insights as to why it is flagged as containing a Trojan. I'll post back if I find anything substantive.
