I think that there needs to be some improvements with long note judgements, as they are what I consider too strict to hit other notes that aren't similar in length.

Simply my issues with the current long guys are that when you transition to the next button (or just press the button again,) you cannot actually release on long notes with a specific judgement, and this is a major flaw. An example I will take is Mania rhythm games, as there's a judgement on the time where you release on a long note. That judgement system in Mania really helps as it allows you to press another note without having a difficult time.

How I would suggest implementing it is having a floating-point value that gets your time holding a specific long note, and then calculates the percentage by dividing the your time holding it by the time length of that long note itself. And then if you release under 75% or less of the long note it will miss, in between 90% or less it will give you a good rating, and 100% or less it will give you a great rating.
