No save on interaction type

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Create a new interaction and import a participant
2.Try to assign an interaction type and save. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should assign the interaction type upon saving, but it does not. Any changes 
to the interaction (import new participants, for example) areno t carried out 
since there is a pending saving.
