Audio Plays in Desktop Mode

Whenever i enter desktop mode my Selected Background music keeps playing, this never happened before

I also am affected by this exact issue, and it started roughly a week ago. I basically just can't use this plugin until this issue is fixed, That's the only solution is to close Steam entirely.

Interestingly enough, it actually is displaying audio as coming from my browser, but the browser doesn't actually have any active processes...

I have the same problem, the music continues even when I am in desktop mode.
I hope it will be solved soon, because at the moment I am forced to disable the plugin.

A recent update to Decky Loader allows plugins to run in desktop mode. We don't really have a way to fix this at the moment, as I don't believe Steam exposes anything we can accurately use saying whether or not the user is in big picture (or gaming) mode. @beebls might be able to correct me on this if I'm wrong.

This is a big bummer, I'll also have to disable this plugin for now. Hopefully you guys can work out a solution with the DeckyLoader devs.

I'm marking this as help wanted in case anyone wants to take a look, but as of v1.6.0, we've deprecated the music feature.
