Required information! OS version: Windows 7 Ultimate, 64 bit, SP1, German ConEmu version: ConEmu 130621 [64] Bug description I want to clear all hotkeys (can it be done at once?) and just configure a few basic hotkeys to let ConEmu behave similar as my other development tools (e.g. my IDE).

CTRL + N : New cmd.exe
CTRL + W : Close active tab
CTRL + Q : Close all but active tab (MISSING FEATURE?)
CTRL + 1..9 : Select tab with the given number
CTRL + CURSOR_LEFT/RIGHT : Switch to previous/next tab

Unfortunately I haven't had success with the current "Keys & Macro" dialog to set these very basic hotkeys properly. Many of them are forcly bound to use the Windows modifier and others can not be changed at all.

PS: I do not want to use Windows modifier at all since there several other global hotkeys bound to it by DOpus file manager. Thus I have to use CTRL instead as I use it in most of my other applications.

There was a typo in the hotkey list: Tab switching should use ALT modifier + CURSOR_LEFT/RIGHT instead of CTRL modifier.

There are only 6 system non changeable hotkeys, which user can't change. That is by design.

But! All hotkeys mentioned by you ARE configurable and of course without Win key too. Just checked. Try carefully.

If you want further help - provide more information, screenshots, xml config, etc.

As for typo - tell exactly what's wrong.

Ok, I gave it another try. Here are my findings:

  1. I can assign ALT modifier to number based console activation. But ALT+1 doesn't do anything unless I enable the "Controls/Win+Numbers - activate console" option. If I activate this option I can switch the consoles by pressing ALT-<1..9>. This is a little bit confusing since the option is talking about WIN modifier but the hotkey only uses ALT.
  2. I can't find an option to disable the prompting behaviour of several confirmation dialogs (e.g. on tab duplication or console detach). Can these confirmation dialogs be disabled?
  3. I can't find a hotkey for "Close all but active tab". Is this one missing?

I wrote new concept issues for point 2 and 3 of my last posting.

Think, "Win" will be renamed to "" in option
