Problem
Users are experiencing issues with certain ESI mass files that are not opening in the Spectra Viewer within the ELN.

User Report
A recent user report indicates:

File Type: ESI mass
Issue: Files are unable to be opened in the Spectra Viewer
Scope: Affects one files

Expected Behavior
All supported file types, including ESI mass files, should open correctly within the Spectra Viewer in the ELN.

Steps to Reproduce

Attempt to open an ESI mass file in the ELN Spectra Viewer.
Observe that the file fail to load without a clear error message or indication of the problem.

Investigation Needed

Check if file parsing or compatibility issues are occurring with ESI mass files in the Spectra Viewer.
Determine if there are specific characteristics in the affected files (e.g., metadata, file size, encoding) causing the issue.

Priority
High – these files are critical for certain users.
