Answers to survey questionnaire (hot water usage) #61
Comments
Are the questions you need already included in the household attribute file? You can check if they are here: https://cfsotago.github.io/GREENGridData/householdAttributeProcessingReport_v1.0.html#9_energy_cultures_2_long_survey_questions If they are not then they would have to be extracted from the original data for you. That could take some time. |
The questions in the household attribute file that would be useful include: Also, are you aware of whether hot water cylinder volumes for each house was recorded in the appliance audit and whether these would be available somewhere? Thanks |
I've generated the updated household attributes file with these additional variables. Can you email me at [email protected] and I'll send the updated data back? Yes the hot water cylinder volume was recorded in the pdf appliance survey files. This [word document](smb://storage.hcs-p01.otago.ac.nz/hum-csafe/Research Projects/GREEN Grid/_RAW DATA/householdAttributes/GREEN Grid Household attribute data processing notes.docx) document tells you where the files are - if you have access to the Otago HCS. But you would have to go through the pdfs one by one and match them to the household attribute data. I'm not sure how you would do this because the linkID used in the gridspy & survey data is not in the appliance survey pdfs. You might need to ask your supervisor about this as you would need access to the file that matches actual addresses to the linkID. |
Where can I find the actual answers to survey questions around hot water cylinders specifications and occupant usage behaviour as answered by occupants for each house in the dataset?
