Dear CWempe,

can you help me with the parts list?
I try to buy the parts at Conrad.de

Some of the parts aren't listed, the resistance i can see on the picture but the product specification from the other parts not, i would appreciate if you help me at this point.

I would recommend to buy the DS18B20 from ebay.de.
You can find a package of 5 pieces for about 6€.
Conrad is rather expensive with these little parts.

This is what I bought:

❗️ WARNING: My gas heating is making strange noises sometimes.
I guess it has an issue with starting the flame.
I don't know if this issue is related to this project.
But otherwise it is working fine with this setup for the last two years. 😃

Is the warning still standing regarding this solution? I'd like to build it and connect it to the heating system?

The warning still stands.
I did not try to find the cause and it still happens sometimes.

But I do not see any other issue.
The device is heating my water wehen ever it should.
It just might take a few tries to start the flame (or wherever the noises come from).

And you can always just plug the original timer back in if you experience the same noises or feel uncomfortable with this solution.

That said: Do at your own risk!
