CLOVER does not contain any notion of topography or topology. Whilst this greatly aids computation time, and is relevant for a majority of cases, it misses out cases where power generation (prosumption), not only consumption, is distributed. E.G., health centres and schools, so called "anchor loads," may have either existing, or modelling scope/a case for, a self-generation system which is capable of producing electricity and exporting excess to a minigrid whilst also taking power from the minigrid.
The extension of the framework for energy systems, as was done in an MSc SEF project by @IlariaDF for clinics with the creation of a clinics.yaml file, could enable these systems to be simulated.
Business-as-usual is one alternative, but it fails to capture both multiple PV/collector arrays as well as the varying priortiy of loads in the community/wider system.

Proposal
There are multiple ways to model this:
clinics.yaml
file, could enable these systems to be simulated.Business-as-usual is one alternative, but it fails to capture both multiple PV/collector arrays as well as the varying priortiy of loads in the community/wider system.
