Hi, would support for XML be something you'd be happy to add? we've already got some of the code but are maintaining it separately, so would be able to create a PR

To be honest, IIRC, most of the reason I didn't do this was because it was annoying to write tests for this, and some thoughts/possible differences between xml and yaml/json.
