Description

To improve the functionality and usability of the project, we propose adding room management for classes in a future version. This feature would significantly enhance the system's capability by allowing efficient room scheduling, capacity management, and integration with additional tools.

1. Time Slot Management

   • Automatically allocate rooms for each scheduled class.
   • Generate a visual map of room assignments for better overview and planning.

2. Room Rescheduling

   • Provide tools to easily reschedule rooms in case of conflicts or changes.
   • Notify stakeholders (teachers, students) about updated room assignments.

3. Special Room Types

   • Support for rooms with specific equipment, such as chemistry labs or auditoriums.
   • Allow filtering and prioritization for class-specific needs.

4. Room Capacity Planning

   • Allocate rooms based on class size and seating capacity.
   • Prevent overbooking and optimize space utilization.

5. Room Capacity Reporting

   • Generate detailed reports to monitor room usage and identify under- or over-utilized spaces.
   • Provide insights for better resource allocation.

6. Room Status Monitoring

   • Track the current status of rooms (e.g., occupied, cleaning in progress, available).
   • Enable integration with maintenance or cleaning teams for real-time updates.

7. Digital Room Sign Integration

   • Add support for digital room signage, such as e-ink displays.
   • Display the current class schedule, upcoming events, or room availability directly at the room.
