Hi @AndreWeiner,

I found some minor typos in the notebook for lecture 1:

  • missing r in servers (section Linux-based operating system, 1st sentence)
  • our instead of out (section Singularity containers, beginning 4th sentence)
  • either ...layers or ...at a fully... (in For example, if we look at fully-developed turbulent boundary layer ; after table with snapshot size of DNS data)
  • missing t in ...at the run time of the simulation...; also I think it should be it instead of they, since it refers to a data source (2 sentences before the section Types of problems that ML solves)
  • maybe move the Also from Also unsupervised learning... to Unsupervised learning also... (section Unsupervised learning, 1st sentence)
  • reduce instead of reduces (or delete the would ; same section, reducing the dimensionality would also reduces the noise in the data)
  • plotting instead of platting (paragraph above eq. (3))
  • regarding the lecture slides, in Studip the time for the lecture is 15:00-16:30, on slide 3.3 is says 15:30-17:00

Regards, Janis

Hi Janis,
thanks a lot for the corrections, especially the incorrect time on StudIP. I am currently in the process of revising both slides and the script (minor changes). I'll attach the next commits to this issue.
Best, Andre
