Feature Request: Auto-Email Resource When Added

Can we set up the platform, so that it auto-emails the resource a canned response when added to the map? This would notify them that they've been included in the map.

we don't have much server-side code, yet, so that would be something we'd need to add. The resource shows up on the map immediately - shouldn't that be enough feedback?

That's fine - our intention was to notify people automatically in order to
build momentum for the project - currently people are added to it but most
likely don't know about that. Can we access a table of the data on heroku
somehow?
