First of all, thanks a lot for the awesome software! Jazak Allah Khayran
I think that adding support for downloading files in backgroud would be a good idea, because when I do install for example recitations and close the window it closes automatically.

Background downloading is already available, you can start a download and close the download manager dialog and that won't affect the download progress. Please provide more details in case this is a different feature.

I'm using a window manager, might be that's why I'm getting that issue.
